Decent Homes update

All of our homes will meet the Decent Homes Standard by 31 December 2010, except in the cases of our two current regeneration schemes in LB Lambeth:

• The regeneration of the Clapham Park Estate, which is being undertaken by Clapham Park Homes.
• The regeneration of the Ashmole Estate, which is being undertaken by Metropolitan Housing Trust London.

Both regeneration schemes have agreed plans, for the delivery of improvement works, which go beyond 2010.

MHP operates an ongoing stock condition survey programme, where we aim to survey all of our homes over a 5-year period. MHT London (excluding the Ashmole estate) and Spirita have achieved 96% and 100% stock condition survey coverage respectively. CPH’s ongoing survey programme, notwithstanding the impact of the regeneration works, has surveyed 12% of their stock. Granta conducted a 100% stock condition survey in 2002, with subsequent additions to their stock being surveyed up until 2007. Granta are shortly to start their ongoing survey programme, and expect to complete 20% stock coverage in six months time.
