Over-55s continue to get into the groove

The over-55s residents of Chalkhill estate continue to prove they have a spring in their step by flocking to the Metropolitan Housing Trust (MHT) London line dancing class. In March this year MHT London organised a taster class for the over-55s on the Wembley estate.
The classes have grown consistently and now attract over 30 attendees. Intended to promote physical activity in this older age group, the participants express the additional benefit of enjoying themselves. The Activate 55 Alive project has now provided additional funding for the project to continue.
