Metropolitan Housing Trust London receive Royal Institute of British Architects Awards award for South London development

Metropolitan Housing Trust London (MHT London) is celebrating winning The Royal Institute of British Architects Awards (RIBA) 2010 London Award for its development Bateman Mews in Clapham, South London.
A partnership between MHT London (part of Metropolitan Housing Partnership), London Borough of Lambeth and architects Anne Thorne Architects, the scheme is made up of five large and affordable family homes which have been built on what used to be a neglected car park. The south London scheme was given the award for its architectural standards and contribution to the local community; it cost £900,000 and was constructed between June 2008 – June 2009.
