Getting into work

Finding work and employment has a positive effect on your own life as well as the lives of those around you. However it’s not always easy to find work alone.

If you’re looking for your first job or want to get back into work, the MHT London Employment and Training service can provide you with one to one support to make the process easier and less stressful.

We can help you to:

  • explore the different job options available to you
  • apply for jobs
  • fill out application forms
  • prepare for interviews.

We might even be able to place you in a job or provide you with a work placement opportunity. This is because we work closely with staff at MHT London, our contractors and other employers to identify jobs and work placement opportunities for our customers.

If you’ve got an idea of the type of work you’d like to do, but would prefer to ‘try before you buy’, then you might be interested in our volunteering service. It will allow you to work on a voluntary basis in your chosen field, giving you an invaluable insight into that area of work.

We can also refer you to specialist providers in London who can offer you with more specific help, advice and support.

To find out more, contact Ash Loskor on 07764 237 671 or email Ash.
