A standing order is a regular payment from your bank or building society account to your rent account, and to work properly it must correctly quote your payment reference number. You should discuss the amount of the standing order with our Customer Services team on 0800 783 2399, and they will send you a form quoting the necessary details.
Please do not use a form from your bank and building society: this creates a risk that your payments will not reach your rent account and you will be in arrears.
Standing order forms can be obtained from our Customer Services team on 0800 783 2399.Standing orders should be made payable to Metropolitan Housing Trust.
You should have a rent payment card. If you are experiencing difficulties using your card, need to order a replacement card, or have not received one, please contact us on 0800 783 2399, quoting your full name and address.
If you are having difficulty paying your rent please contact our Income team on 0800 783 2399.
