How we can help vulnerable residents

We will make sure that our staff and contractors provide services that meet the requirements of, and are sensitive to, the needs of residents. We will also work with our local authority partners, such as social services so that any extra help and support is requested. Most importantly, we want to make sure that residents can successfully manage in their property.

Examples of how we can help include:

  • providing extra services like adaptations to your home
  • offering different timescales for repairs
  • providing extra help and advice with arrears and debt
  • offering more help with communicating with us through different languages
  • taking more time to explain.

Residents may also ask us for any reasonable service adjustments.

Please ask us if you think you have a need we should consider or we should know about. This will help us provide you with a better service.

If you would like further information or advice on how we can help, talk to your Neighbourhood or Housing officer in person, or contact your local office.
