Our grounds maintenance standards
Pinnacle PSG are the MHT London grounds maintenance contractor and will be delivering the service as follows.
Grass
The grass cutting season is fortnightly from April to October with one cut during November, February and March.
We will:
- Cut grass to an approximately length of between 25mm to 50mm
- Litter pick before cutting and remove all cuttings on the same day.
- Trim edges, cut back around trees and maintain cutting around fencing areas every two weeks
- Report any minor works required to Estate Services Manager every two weeks
- Trim the edges of turf beside cultivated areas every six months
- Clear all grass clippings from surfaces with blowers every two weeks
Hedge and Bush areas
We will:
- Pick litter pick before pruning (including bottles, cans, dog faeces) every two weeks
- Trim hedges bushes (with due care to horticultural species) every two weeks
- Cut all hedges and bush areas in April, June and August (with due care to horticultural species)
Planted areas
We will:
- Cultivate borders, beds and dead heading every month
- Keep areas weed free and remove unwanted vegetation from cultivated areas every two weeks
- Report Damaged, diseased or dying plants as and when required
- Remove litter weekly
Leaf clearance
We will:
- Collect and dispose of fallen leaves from any of the areas for grass cutting, hedge & bush maintenance, planted areas or access ways every two weeks (completed by November each year.
Access paths and gravel
We will:
- Keep gravel areas, car park areas, hard surfaces and paved areas weed and moss free every two weeks
- Keep paths and access ways clear by removing shopping trolleys and other bulk items weekly
- Cut back over hanging shrubs and trees to prevent obstruction to access ways, windows and communal lights every two weeks.
How we will achieve these standards
We will:
- Attend estate inspections with residents and MHT London staff.
- Attend local resident meetings where requested.
- Carry out regular and unannounced spot checks (Pinnacle PSG management).
- Attend programmed site walkabouts with Pinnacle PSG directors.
- Provide a speedy response to complaints with an emphasis put on immediate resolution.
- Hold regular team meetings with our staff.
- Have cleaners and gardeners attendance sheets.
- Ensure our staff are trained to carry out their jobs effectively and to a high Standard.
- Maintain close working partnerships with other services such as recycling, refuse and street collection.
