MHT London’s Neighbourhood Investment Programme refurbishes Victorian street properties to a Decent Homes ++ Standard to provide good quality homes that our customers can be proud of.
Residents are decanted from their property whilst works are undertaken which can take up to 14 weeks.
Works generally include insulation to the roof, walls and floor, replacement roofs and windows, electrical rewiring, new gas central heating and new kitchens and bathrooms.
Refurbished homes typically achieve more than a 45 per cent reduction in CO2. Subsequently, residents are able to halve their fuel costs and are being supported to make changes in their behaviour, reducing the risk of fuel poverty.
We believe that having a good quality home that you are proud of is the basis for building a happy, healthy and sustainable community.
