Planned investment programme

We have a programme of major planned repairs which have been identified from surveys and ensure all our homes meet the Decent Homes Standard.  We aim to complete these improvements within three months or to an agreed work programme.

The continuous improvement programme may include the following renewal works:

  • roof replacements
  • window replacements
  • kitchen replacements
  • bathroom replacements
  • boiler upgrades
  • electrical rewires
  • loft Insulation
  • cavity wall insulation

MHT London bears the cost of planned and cyclical maintenance as your landlord; therefore there is no cost to residents for these services.

The five year investment programme runs from 2010-2015.

Top tip

Improve the efficiency of radiators - Make a heat reflector to put behind the radiators by taping heavy duty aluminium foil onto a piece of cardboard with the shiny side facing out. The heat will bounce of the foil and into your room instead of being absorbed by the wall.
