Recharges

Repairs due to neglect, nuisance, accident or deliberate damage, regardless of who caused the damage, are your responsibility under the terms of your tenancy. This includes damage caused by forced entry after lost keys, broken doors and windows and broken kitchen units, where the damage has not been through wear and tear.

If you fail to maintain anything you are responsible for we can carry out the work and charge you for the cost of doing it. We will always let you know how much it will cost before we do the work.

This enables us to provide a better service and save money by reducing the number of rechargeable repairs and using this money to improve our services. It also means that other tenants do not have pick up the bill for those who deliberately damage their property.

Did you know?

Early symptoms of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning can mimic many common ailments and may easily be confused with food poisoning, viral infections, flu or simple tiredness.
